Overview
This work was done under a non-disclosure agreement. What's shown here is a high-level summary.
End-to-end control software for an autonomous surface vehicle — covering networking, control loops, and carrot-chasing path-following algorithms for reliable autonomous navigation.
Built during an engagement at Andromeida Maritime Solutions. The control stack uses a dual carrot-chasing waypoint algorithm for autonomous routing, with a multi-threaded backend handling UDP telemetry, MAVLink RC overrides, sensor polling and PID stabilisation.
Hardware
u-blox ZED-F9P (GPS), Xsens IM10A (IMU), RM3100 (magnetometer), STM32 for PWM outputs.
Software
Multi-threaded Python backend: UDP telemetry, MAVLink RC overrides, sensor polling, PID stabilisation.
